Commercial Electrician

Job Summary

We are hiring Commercial Electricians for a client in Greensboro, GA. This is a ground-up warehouse build requiring experienced electricians who can work at a high production pace on a large commercial job site. The ideal candidate is a skilled mechanic, journeyman or above who can hit the ground running and maintain strong conduit production daily.

Responsibilities

• Run and install 400+ feet of conduit per day in a commercial warehouse environment
• Install EMT, rigid, and/or PVC conduit systems per project specifications and NEC code
• Pull wire and cable through conduit systems
• Terminate devices, panels, and equipment as directed
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, single-line diagrams, and project drawings
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades on a large ground-up construction site
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA and site safety requirements
• Perform quality work with minimal supervision and rework

Must Haves
• Proven ability to run 400+ feet of conduit per day
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent field experience on commercial projects
• Experience on ground-up commercial or industrial construction sites
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and project drawings
• Strong knowledge of NEC code and commercial electrical installation practices
• Reliable transportation to the Greensboro, GA job site
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Forklift or aerial lift certification

Preferred Skills
• Experience on large-scale warehouse or distribution center builds
• Master Electrician license
• Experience working with underground conduit systems
• Familiarity with large feeder and gear installation
