A staffing agency that specializes in skilled trades and supply-chain work has entered Gwinnett County.

SKL’D recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of its headquarters in the Duluth area at 3005 Breckinridge Blvd.

“SKL’D was built to challenge the traditional staffing experience and create something better for both employers and talent,” Jon Neff, co-founder and CEO, said. “Gwinnett provides an ideal location for us because of its strong business community, diverse workforce and strategic access to the region’s manufacturing and logistics network.”

SKL’D connects employers with talent in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, construction, HVAC and industrial sectors. The company has quickly gained national attention, earning a 2026 Best of Staffing Award for Service Excellence from ClearlyRated.

The company was launched last yearby the founders of the staffing company Hire Dynamics as a way to help combat a labor shortage in the skilled trades sector. With a decline in white-collar jobs, many manufacturers have been seeking ways to attract more young people to the roles.

In its first year, SKL’D closed out with an approximately $5 million revenue run rate, projecting to nearly double to $9 million in 2026, according to the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. SKL’D was also recognized by Atlanta Business Chronicle as a 2025 Best Places to Work honoree.

Kevin Carmichael, senior vice president of economic development for Partnership Gwinnett, said local officials are excited about the agency’s continued investment in the county.

“Gwinnett continues to attract companies that recognize the value of strong workforce partnerships and access to talent,” Carmichael said. “SKL’D’s growth in our community reflects the increasing demand for workforce solutions that support the evolving needs of advanced manufacturing, supply chain and skilled trades industries.”

Partnership Gwinnett will host a Workforce Forum on June 25where employers, educators and industry leaders will discuss workforce challenges and talent-pipeline solutions.
