Second consecutive honor comes as Atlanta-based workforce company enters just its second year of operation

ATLANTA (August 27, 2026) — SKL’D, a workforce partner serving skilled trades, manufacturing and supply chain, has been named the No. 5 Best Place to Work in its category by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, marking the second consecutive year the company has earned the prestigious workplace recognition.

The honor was announced Thursday evening during the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s annual Best Places to Work awards ceremony.

For SKL’D, now in just its second year of operation, earning the recognition for a second consecutive year is particularly meaningful. It reflects a culture the company’s founders have worked intentionally to build from the very beginning, one centered on people, purpose, opportunity and shared responsibility.

“To earn this recognition once was incredibly meaningful. To earn it two years in a row, while we’re still such a young company, says something very special about the people who are building SKL’D,” Jon Neff, CEO and Co-Founder, said. “We set out to create a place where people know they matter, where they’re challenged to grow and where the work has purpose. This belongs to our entire team.”

The recognition adds to a growing list of workplace honors for SKL’D. Earlier this year, the company was named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2026 Best Staffing Firms to Work For list, a national recognition based on employee feedback and workplace engagement.

Together, the honors reinforce a principle that has guided SKL’D from its beginning: work is personal.

SKL’D was founded on the belief that when the right person steps into the right role, it changes more than a business. It can change a life. That philosophy shapes how the company serves its clients and talent, and how SKL’D approaches its own people and culture.

“We talk about our mission to elevate every life touched by work, and that has to begin inside our own walls,” Mr. Neff said. “The culture we want to help our clients build and the opportunities we want to create for our talent have to be reflected in how we lead and support our own team. Being recognized again tells us we’re building something that matters.”

As SKL’D continues to grow, the company remains focused on building dependable teams for businesses while creating meaningful opportunities for the people behind the work.
