Forklift Operator – Sit-Down / Stand-Up

Location: Suwanee, GA
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $18.40 per hour
Job Type: Temp to Hire

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations. This position requires experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable moving materials, loading and unloading product, staging inventory, and supporting daily warehouse workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely throughout the facility

  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers

  • Move, stage, and organize materials in designated warehouse areas

  • Pull, prepare, and stage orders for production or shipping

  • Verify product, quantities, labels, and locations for accuracy

  • Assist with inventory movement and general warehouse organization

  • Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines

  • Inspect forklift equipment before use and report maintenance concerns

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards

  • Support warehouse team members with additional duties as needed

Must Haves

  • Previous sit-down & stand-up forklift experience required

  • Ability to lift, move, push, or pull materials as needed

  • Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment

  • Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-minded

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

  • Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and move throughout the shift

Nice to Haves

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or production experience

  • Forklift certification preferred, but not required

  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, or order staging

  • RF scanner or warehouse system experience is a plus
